A Snowy Situlation for the Cultural Vandal

As I am writing this snow has fallen outside my home. The UK is currently experiencing (what the local media have dubbed) "snowmageddon" ..... again.

Back in January the snow as so deep in that I was not able to drive. (The snow was just touching the rim of the wheels, which my front-wheel drive hatchback struggled with.) The way it is now, I will not be surprised that I will be stranded again.

But don't worry folks. I am well stocked with food and supplies that will last until spring (which is very soon coming, as this is in fact the last day in February).

The real reason I'm writing this is to tell you that thanks to some improvements of my current situation (I am not stupid enough to write out what exactly these things are on a blog because I know the of people who monitor for such things.) I am in a great mood, despite the weather.

Because of this I have decided to tackle a few things I have laid dormant for a "while." Just today I finally got around to decorating my hallway. I had bought the paint and tools to do so months ago, but I had been too busy to get it done. And that was just a warm up.

For the next few weeks I "will" (I am putting that word in quotes just in case) be getting a few dormant tasks and projects done ... or at least attempt to.

This will include tackling the list of "draft" posts I have for this blog. I have drafts dating back to 2013! So, unless my mood takes me in another direction, the next post you'll see here will be one I have laid unfinished for possibly years.

Until then, see ya later.
